  Good day. A year later, the question is still relevant - the portfolio is displayed on tablets with a vertical screen orientation in three columns (while in the preview I see two columns) Is there a way to somehow fix this (perhaps through CSS, specifying the desired screen size)?

  Go to Customizing ▸ Works settings ▸ Works list
  and play around with 'Bricks columns' and 'The maximum width of the brick layout' parameters.
  You should find some combination that suits you.

  I have tried changing the settings many times, but unfortunately, it does not help. It seems to me that this is still some kind of error in the styles, since on the tablet the number of columns is always equal to the number of columns specified in the settings as the maximum number (although in the mobile view the number of columns is rebuilt - on the phone the works are displayed in one column, as it should be). At the same time, when I try to configure the number of columns and other parameters through "Customization", in the preview I see the correct number of columns (two columns when displayed on the tablet). However, the preview does not match the actual display on the tablet. I have attached screenshots to make it clearer what I mean.

  You set 'Brick Count' to 3.
  You will not have 3 columns always though - this will be reduced to 2 and 1 on smaller devices to meet the design.

  I want to get the following result:
  
  1. Three columns on desktop computers (everything works fine here);
  2. One column on mobile phones (everything works fine here too);
  3. Two (!) columns on a tablet (and this is exactly what I can't do);
  
  At the same time, as you can see in my screenshots above, in the preview (from "Customization") two columns are displayed on the tablet, but in reality three columns are displayed on the tablet.
  
  Is there a way to get the display option that I described above in points 1-3 (3 columns on the desktop, 2 columns on the tablet, 1 column on the mobile phone)?

  OK, basic question - which tablet. These devices are different, have different resolution.
  You can check your browser, slowly make is narrower and you will find the exact screen width where you can see two columns.
  
  this is done automatically and at this point you cannot define how many columns you will have for given breakpoints

  I have experimentally found out that the columns are rebuilt into two columns at a screen width of 800 px or less. Is it possible to change this parameter to, for example, 1024 px?

  It would interfere with the way Rife has been designed.
  I would not recommend doing this, but you can try overloading these css rules.

  Thanks for the help, but from the answer above I still don't understand - can I get the CSS I need to set up the site the way I need, or is this a problem?

  This is a support forum.
  We support issues, errors, we help our clients to work with out theme.
  Our theme does not have this possibility to swing around with breakpoints.
